Just a couple of months to the big day. Things have been going well and many items have been finalised. Unfortunately, the venue had a sudden renovation (it was supposed to have been started since the first half of this year and should not have affected the second half) beginning this month and it caused a scramble for us to manage the situation. We got our photos done and I have to say… they were awesome! We finally managed to book our ideal wedding car because of a cancellation by the other party. Woohoo!!! So that’s 1 more item in the arranged portion. Things are looking close to completion as most of the pending works can only be done closer to the wedding.
- Wedding venue
- Wedding cars
- Suits and dress for parents
- Makeup artist for parents
- Wedding Venue (renovation contingency plan)
- Seating arrangement
- Pre wedding photos (album remake)
- Photobooth (customised overlay)
- Table décor (customised table design)
- ROM paperwork (awaiting collection)
The house renovation has also been pushed back because the wedding is likely to be ahead of the key collection. At least our ID has time to relax now. :P
In my SG account: Nothing has changed in this month.
Collected dividends from Accordia and Aims. Started looking into stocks during my free time and spotted a few potential companies. Just have to wait for a good retracement before putting more money.
My current SG Cash holdings include:
1) ACCORDIA GOLF TRUST
2) LIPPO MALLS INDO RETAIL TRUST
3) AIMS AMP CAP INDUSTRIAL REIT
4) SBS TRANSIT
5) ASCENDAS INDIA TRUST
Overall capital gain: +4.41%
Overall P&L with dividend: +15.05%
In my US account: May was a horrible month as I closed too early without any repair done. 1 position cost me all the profits I made this year, but Jun’s triple spread expiry brought back the account. Although 7% is nothing much, I hope to bring back my account 1 contract expiry at a time. Hopefully Donald Trump does not keep doing crazy things that can bring the market to it’s knees.
Overall capital gain YTD: +7.78%
